With over seven years of SL wrestling experience, she's an emerging legend whose hard work, dedication, and unyielding spirit have made her a force to be reckoned with in not just one, but two major promotions. In this exclusive Bombshell Insider interview, we dive into Samantha’s journey, her rise to dual championship glory, and the mindset that keeps her at the top of her game.
Interview with Samantha Foxy
1. Samantha, you hold the prestigious titles of both VWE Women’s National Champion and WPWF World Women’s Champion. How does it feel to be the face of two major wrestling promotions simultaneously?
Samantha Foxy: To me personally it feels really good, but naturally this comes with great responsibilities. It’s like living a life of challenges, both from others and from myself. Keeping the bar high is a challenge for everyone, but that’s why we do this too. Being the face of two of the companies I worked for so long, one in particular WPWF being the one where my adventure started, it’s something hard to describe in words, but yes it feels really good.
2. With over 7 years of experience in SL wrestling, what has been the most defining moment of your career so far, and how has it shaped you as a wrestler?
Samantha Foxy: There are quite a lot and it’s tough choosing one, but I’d say the most defining moment of my career was when I won my first ever world women championship in Fusion Pro Wrestling (FPW) in a match that I’ll remember for my entire life. On April 22, 2022, I went inside a Hell in a Cell against Anarchy. She’s a real monster, and facing her required everything from me. It’s one of those things where you go all in or leave, and I owe a lot to her for every match we had.
3. Balancing your commitments between VWE and WPWF must be challenging. How do you maintain your focus and energy while competing at such a high level in both promotions?
Samantha Foxy: If I tell you those are not just my commitments, it might spoil how I do that. There was a time when I wrestled for 5 federations and had 7 matches a week while also working as General Manager for BCW. I also managed the Vicious Vixens in WPWF and did commentary for some shows. It’s a mix of passion, love for SL wrestling, and a bit of madness. That’s what keeps me going.
4. As someone who's quickly becoming a legend in the sport, what advice would you give to aspiring female wrestlers looking to make their mark in the virtual wrestling world?
Samantha Foxy: Even now, I hardly see myself as a proper legend. Everything takes time. Patience, passion, dedication, and hard work are crucial. It’s a long journey, and you’re never alone. You need to work hard for your dreams and stay committed.
5. You’re known for your hard work and dedication. What does your training regimen look like, and how do you stay motivated to keep pushing your limits?
Samantha Foxy: I balance training with free time, spending up to 4 hours in the gym and then relaxing by playing video games, swimming, or shopping. My dream to be a pro wrestler pushes me, but the fans who cheer and boo help me push beyond my limits.
6. Being a dual champion is no small feat. What was your mindset going into the matches where you won your titles, and how did you prepare mentally and physically for those moments?
Samantha Foxy: I approach title matches with the mindset that it might be my last chance for a while. It’s an “All or nothing” situation. I prepare mentally and physically to go to war, knowing that I need to give everything and endure the battle scars.
7. The wrestling world is constantly evolving. How do you stay ahead of the competition and continue to innovate your style in the ring?
Samantha Foxy: Innovation comes from living in the present and following your instincts. Wrestling evolves in the ring, and sometimes you need to think outside the box and try new things. It’s about adapting and learning from each experience.
8. Looking ahead, what goals do you have for the future? Are there any particular opponents or challenges you’re eager to take on next?
Samantha Foxy: I’d love to win an Elimination Royale or hold a Queen of the Ring briefcase in VWE. There are many opponents I want to face, like Christina Krovac, Danni, and Brooke Owens. I’m open to challenges, including against male wrestlers like Cody Holey and K-Pow. The future is full of opportunities!
